The Dundurs family, Lubeck Displaced Persons Camp, c.1945
Cecilija Dundurs with her son, Elmars, and daughter, Rita, at a displaced persons camp in Germany following World War Two. This was the last time the family were together.
Aged 17, Rita was eligible to join the Volunteer Workers Scheme and moved to the UK, but her mother, who had a dependent, remained at the camp.
