Dzintra Grinbergs graduating Latvian School, Latvian Club Bradford, 1966

Dzintra Grinbergs with teachers, Education Minister and fellow classmates of Latvian School at Bradford’s Latvian Club in May 1966.

Dzintra Grinbergs wears her mothers national costume. Latvian school was very intensive, students were taught Grammar, History, Geography and had obligatory cultural hours where they would learn Latvian songs and dances, before staging their own shows.

This picture was sent to Dzintra’s Grandmothers in Latvia.
