Sports event at displaced persons camp in Northumberland. The camp housed people who had moved to the UK after World War Two to work in farming, forestry and nursing as part of government led pro-migration schemes including the European Voluntary Workers Scheme and the Baltic Cygnets scheme. These initiatives were open to people from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
