Gem Harris, Oakroyd Avenue, c.1980

Gem and Ezra Harris moved to their home on Oakroyd Avenue in 1978, this photograph was taken soon after, when the family had all been at a friends wedding. Gem and Ezra remember the distinctive 1970s decor, but redecorated a few years after they arrived after feeling the patterns ‘all got a bit much’.
