Passport of Najam-Un-Nisa, Rawalpindi, 1966

Najam-Un-Nisa came to England in 1966, with her eldest son, Sujad Ahmed who was born in Pakistan in 1965.

Najam-Un-Nisa joined her husband, Nazir Ahmed Qureshi, who had come to England a few years prior to this, in order to establish himself. In her passport photograph, she wears the same necklace that she wore on her wedding day.
