This photograph of Sheila on her wedding day at Keighley Register Office appeared in the Keighley news, with the accompanying caption,
‘The bride, a teacher at Albert Road Junior School, Shipley, wore a navy blue crepe coat, with a red, white and blue silk dress, and a white petal hat with pearl accessories, and carried a spray of white rosebuds and freesia.’
